DAY ONE RESULTS AND DAY TWO LIVE STATS
INDIANAPOLIS – The Northern Kentucky men's and women's track & field program posted a standout opening to the 2024 IUPUI Jaguar Invitational inside the Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion on Friday.
The Norse advanced two student-athletes onto Saturday's finals, where they will have 16 student-athletes and four relay teams competing in the championship round in total.

ADVANCING TO SATURDAY'S FINALS

Meredith Goff is heading to the finals of the women's 60-meter dash after she won the prelims with a 7.59. She took first place in the fourth heat and will enter the championship round with the top time in the event from Friday. The time was a personal best and a brand new school record.

Erin Starks punched her ticket to the finals in the women's 60-meter hurdles as she claimed seventh overall in the prelims with a time of 8.84 in the prelims.
NOTABLES
- The Norse put on a show in the men's mile finals with two student-athletes on the podium.
Jacob Line placed second overall with a time of 4:17.21 and
Colton O'Hara was literally right behind in third at 4:17.51. Both times were personal records and slotted into the NKU all-time Top-10.
- Goff also took fourth overall in the women's 200-meter dash finals with a time of 24.74. Starks scored points as well for the Norse in the event with a eighth-place finish at 25.06.
- Layla Henderson crossed the line in fifth in the women's 5000-meter race with a personal best of 17:16.05. Sophia DeLiso also toed the line in the race and came in 10th at 18:23.58.

Kierra Morris took 12th overall in the women's long jump with a best leap of 5.25-meters.
- Jared Humphrey also came in 12th in the men's long jump with a best mark of 6.27-meters.

Hope Erbach led the way for the Norse in the women's mile as she finished 14th overall at 5:17.57.
NEXT UP
Northern Kentucky will conclude the Jaguar Invitational with championship Saturday on Saturday, January 27. The field portion of the meet will get underway for the Norse at 1 PM ET, which will be followed by the track slate at 2 PM.
