HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — The Horizon League has announced the results of the 2024-25 Under Armour #HLWBB Preseason Poll, as well as the Preseason All-League Teams, and Northern Kentucky's Macey Blevins has been named to the Preseason All-League Second Team by coaches around the conference.
Blevins, a senior from Monticello, Ky., impressed in her first season with the Norse in 2023-24 after transferring in from Western Kentucky. Blevins posted a pair of 30-point games, with a season high 31 vs. Robert Morris in February. She ranked third on the team in scoring at 12.9 PPG, and knocked down 41 threes at a 34% clip. Her 77 assists ranked second on the squad as well.
The Norse were picked to finish seventh out of 11 teams in the league.
Northern Kentucky enters a new era under first-year head coach Jeff Hans in 2024-25, who has brought in five newcomers to join nine returners in Highland Heights.
The Norse are set to open the season at home on November 4, with Middle Tennessee making the trip from Murfreesboro, Tennessee to Highland Heights for the home opener at Truist Arena.
