Kamora Morgan wins second-straight #HLWBB Freshman of the Week award

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Freshman guard Kamora Morgan has burst onto the scene as of late for the Norse, as on Monday the Horizon League announced the Ontario native earned her second consecutive Freshman of the Week honor. After a big breakout game against Southern Indiana the previous week, this week Morgan entered the starting lineup where she was a key contributor for the Norse in close losses to Bradley and Eastern Kentucky.

Against Bradley, Morgan scored seven points, secured two rebounds, and added an assist in 29 minutes. The freshman performed well at the free throw line, going 5-6 on three trips. Against EKU, Morgan was third on the team in scoring with 13 points, again going 5-6 from the charity stripe. She also tallied four rebounds, two assists, and a steal, while playing a team-high 33 minutes.

Morgan and the Norse open Horizon League play on Wednesday, taking on the Cleveland State Vikings on the road.
