CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky women's tennis team remains a perfect 2-0 in Horizon League play as the Norse knocked off Oakland in a thrilling 4-3 conference win at home on Saturday.
 
With the victory, NKU is tied for first place overall in the Horizon. It is also the second straight year that the Norse have started 2-0 in Horizon play.
 
The Norse found themselves down 1-0 after doubles but Northern Kentucky responded with two straight singles victories by Catharina Cardoso and Angela Rinaldi to make it a 2-1 match. After the Golden Grizzlies picked up a win, Northern Kentucky responded right back with one of its own off the racket of Ashlee Fisk to keep it at 3-2.
 
Alyssa Cameron sealed the Norse comeback win with a victory out of the No. 3 spot to give NKU the four points it needed for yet another dub.
