HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky women's basketball program has added another strong Mid-American Conference opponent to their 2024-25 schedule as the Norse will host Ball State inside Truist Arena on December 15.

The non-conference clash marks the third meeting in history between the programs and first since 2013-14.
 
NKU and Ball State split a home-and-home series, with the road team taking home the victory in each game during the the 2012-13 and 2013-14 campaigns. The Norse defeated the Cardinals, 69-67, back on December 8, 2012 in Muncie, Indiana.

With a roster full of talented faces, both old and new, first-year head coach Jeff Hans and staff are preparing NKU for a return to championship glory. Northern Kentucky is now set to face opponents from three different conferences in the early part of the season, including two MAC institutions.

Ball State comes into 2024-25 on the back of three consecutive 20-plus win seasons. The Cardinals are coached by Brady Sallee, who has amassed 209 victories over his 11 years at the helm.
