HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky women's basketball program has added another talented student-athlete to the squad, as Jaci Jones has signed with the Norse as a graduate transfer ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
"Jaci is a great addition to our program as we complete the roster for the upcoming season," head coach Jeff Hans said. "The experience Jaci brings to our team as a graduate transfer will be valuable. She will fit right into our offensive concepts due to her ability to make plays both with her scoring and ability to set her teammates up for success."
Jones is no stranger to the Horizon League, coming to NKU following four seasons at IU-Indy. In her four years as a Jaguar, Jones played in 87 games and made 18 starts. Last season was her best in Indianapolis, averaging 22 minutes per game and ranking second on the team with 56 assists. In two games vs. Northern Kentucky, Jones totaled 15 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.
Her success was not limited to the court, as Jones was named to the Horizon League Honor Roll twice.
Jones played for South Side High School in her hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and scored 950 points with 238 assists for the Archers before her senior season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
