INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's soccer senior
Megan Gessner was named to the Valeo Horizon League All-Academic Team on Tuesday, adding another accolade to her incredible senior season.

Bob Sheehan. "Megan has demonstrated a tremendous work ethic and has set high academic and athletic goals for herself. We are very proud of Megan."
In the classroom, Gessner has been a top student during her time at Northern Kentucky. She's made appearances on the dean's list, the president's honors list, and the scholar's list, as well as four appearances on the Horizon League Honor Roll. On the field, she's been just as stellar. Gessner leads the Horizon League in goals against average (.677), save percentage (.849), and shutouts (seven).
