INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Northern Kentucky University Norse Women's Basketball wrapped up its four-game road trip to start the season on Sunday in Indianapolis, as NKU took on Butler. The Norse had another slow start to the game, scoring just eight first-quarter points. Despite multiple solid performances off the bench, NKU's 13 combined points from its starting five proved to be a setback too difficult to overcome.

- The story of the game for the Norse was its poor production from its starting unit, which, as a collective, scored 13 points on 4-16 shooting from the field and 1-8 shooting from behind the arc. The starting five also combined for eight turnovers, and no player in the unit posted a plus/minus above -16.
- As a team, NKU shot 33.3% from the field, 21.1% from three, and 63.6% from the free throw line. The squad really struggled from deep early, as the Norse didn't make a three until there was 1:21 remaining in the third quarter.
