HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University is hosting the Horizon League Volleyball Championship from Friday, November 21, to Sunday, November 23, at Truist Arena.
CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL
- For the first time since joining the Horizon League in 2015, Northern Kentucky secured the No. 1 seed in the Horizon League Volleyball Championship.
- The Norse concluded the 2025 regular season with a 17-1 League record and a 21-8 overall record with a current 13-match winning streak.
- NKU will play its semifinal match against the worst-remaining seed after the quarterfinal matches at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday, Nov. 22.
- Wright State enters postseason play as the No. 2 seed and will also receive a bye into the semifinal round.
- The Raiders finished the regular season with a League record of 13-5 and a 19-10 overall record.
- WSU will take on the best-remaining seed from the quarterfinals in the second semifinal match on Saturday, Nov. 22.
- In the opening match of the 2025 #HLVB championship, No. 3 seed Youngstown State will take on No. 6 seed Green Bay at 3 p.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 21.
- The Phoenix won both regular season matchups against the Penguins in Wisconsin.
- YSU earned the No. 3 seed after posting a 4-0 record against Milwaukee and IU Indy during the regular season.
- No. 4 seed IU Indianapolis will battle No. 5 seed Milwaukee in Friday's second quarterfinal, scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.
- The Jaguars collected two wins over the Panthers during the regular season.
- Every match of the 2025 Horizon League Volleyball Championship will be streamed live on ESPN+.
