FORT WAYNE, Ind. - At the Horizon League Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend,
Olivia Kennedy etched her name into the conference record book. The junior from Jackson, Ohio set not only a new personal best in the 800m finals but broke a 23-year long-standing record at the league's indoor championships, earning a conference title for the Norse.
Apart from Kennedy's 2:12.04 run in the 800m finals, plenty of other Norse recorded outstanding performances on the day.

NOTABLES
- Kennedy's record-breaking run was the standout performance of the day for the Norse, marking their only championship victory.

Cameron Bitterman recorded a second-place finish in the 400m run, running a 56.88 and falling just 0.03 seconds short of a conference title.
- NKU's 4x400m relay squad earned a second-place podium finish with a time of 3:53.03.

Julia Pohl finished in third in the high jump, leaping 1.66m.

Kaden Gardner had a great performance in the Heptathlon, winning the high jump at 1.94m and finishing third overall in the event.

Colton O'Hara earned seven points for the Norse, finishing fourth in the 3000m run (8:33.23), and grabbing a seventh-place finish in the 5000m (14:36.14).

Jacob Messer (1:56.00) and
Brady Messer (2:01.16) both earned points in the 800m, finishing seventh and eighth in the finals, respectively.

Alden Williams lept 12.93m in the triple jump, an eighth-place finish.

Select participants will head to Virginia Beach, Va. on March 14 for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
