CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Northern Kentucky Men's and Women's track and field teams continued their 2025 outdoor campaign at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open, held by Cedarville University. The Norse saw major contributions on the women's side from many different athletes, as seven different Norse athletes earned top-eight finishes. On the men's side, NKU performed best in a single event, the 800m, with
Brady Messer,
Jacob Messer, and
Brayden Holland all finishing in the top four in the run.

NOTABLES (WOMEN)

Olivia Kennedy continued her dominant stretch in the 800m, winning the event with a time of 2:14.88.
Grace Biddle grabbed a third-place finish in the race, finishing in 2:16.91

Sierra Kendall finished second in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:03.57, just 11 hundredths behind the first-place finisher.

Julia Pohl notched a third-place finish in the high jump with a leap of 1.58 meters.

Cameron Bitterman finished fifth in the 200m dash, running a 24.31.
- NKU's 4x100 relay team of
Meredith Goff,
Cameron Bitterman,
Madison McDaniel, and
Sierra Kendall finished 6th with a time of 48.15.

Kayla Willging lept 3.49 meters in the pole vault, earning points for NKU with an eighth-place finish.
NOTABLES (MEN)
- Northern Kentucky dominated in the 800m race, collecting 23 points.
Brady Messer won the event with a time of 1:53.80, while
Jacob Messer followed that up with a 1:55.74, finishing in second.
Brayden Holland grabbed a fourth-place finish with a time of 1:56.55.

Nathan Ruth was the only other Norse to place in an event, running the 1500m in 3:59.30, a sixth-place finish.
