Jake Paulick tabbed #HLBASE Batter of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Northern Kentucky University Norse baseball junior Jake Paulick earned Horizon League Batter of the Week honors on Monday, marking the weekly award for the Norse of the 2026 season.

"Jake has put in a ton of work on his game, and this is a nice reminder that hard work pays off!," stated Norse skipper Dizzy Peyton. "He's a great leader on and off the field."

Paulick racked up eight RBIs on the week as he went 3-12 from the plate with a trio of extra-base hits, hitting a pair of three-run homers against Eastern Kentucky, and hit an RBI double in NKU's win over Alabama A&M.

Despite only hitting .250 on the week, Paulick still reached base nine times, thanks to drawing four walks and three HBPs, posting an on-base percentage of .526 on the week.

Paulick and the Norse open up home action this week, taking on Morehead State on Wednesday before hosting Eastern Illinois for a weekend series.
