BATAVIA, Ohio – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's golf continued spring play at The Julie Invitational on Monday & Tuesday, as the Norse continued their strong start to the spring with another top-half finish. The Norse finished tied for third across 12 competing programs, its highest finish since its home event since finishing second among six teams in the 2022 edition. 

Overall, the Norse posted a team score of +86, six strokes off of second-place Green Bay and tying with IU Indy. NKU got better as the tournament progressed, going +34 in round one, +31 in round two, and +21 in round three. 

Eva Maley led the Norse with a +10 overall, bouncing back from a +8 in the first round with a pair of one-over rounds to end her tournament run. She finished tied for second at the event, and finished three strokes off first place. She logged five birdies over the final two rounds. 

Ryliann Bednar finished in seventh among individuals, but competed as an independent. She went 17-over for the tournament and put up a 76 in the final round, her best score of the invite. 

Kenna Jenkinson finished 25-over, second among qualifying Norse and 24th overall. Her best round also came in round three, as she put up a 79 on Tuesday.

Conlee Lindsey finished in 28th overall, golfing a 27-over. A 15-over round two hurt Lindsey, but she bounced back on the final day with a 77 on the 72-par course. 

Ella Hardy rounded out NKU's group of scoring competitors, putting up a +30 and finishing 41st overall. 

Up next, the Norse head to the Colonel Classic hosted by Eastern Kentucky at the University Club at Arlington.
