TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Northern Kentucky University Norse baseball continued play in its series with #20 Florida State on Saturday. After dropping yesterday's game 7-3 while recording just one hit, the Norse came up with five hits on Saturday, but allowed 13 Seminole runs as the Norse were run-ruled at Howser Stadium.

GAME SUMMARY
– FSU took a first-inning lead and never trailed in the ballgame, scoring three in the first, three in the second, four in the fifth, and three in the seventh. Northern Kentucky scored all three of its runs off of homers, a Josh Williams solo shot in the second and a Sam Bond two-run home run in the sixth. 

BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN
– EJ Miramontes started on the mound for NKU and threw four innings, allowing seven runs, all earned, six hits, and two walks while striking out six batters. 
– Tannis Lange was the only other productive pitcher on the day for the Norse, going 2.1 innings while allowing one run, three walks, and a hit while striking out a pair of batters. 
– The NKU offense tallied five hits on the day, all from different players. Sam Bond homered in his only plate appearance, while Williams finished 1-2 on the day with his solo homer, his fifth home run of the season.
