Four Norse post top-five finishes at Clark/Wood Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse track & field competed in the Clark/Wood Invitational on the weekend, NKU's final meet before the 2026 Horizon League Outdoor Championships. Several Norse posted personal bests, with Cameron Bittermann, Olivia Kennedy, Natnael Weldemichael, and Grace Biddle all posting top-five finishes. 

NOTABLES (MEN)
– Natnael Weldemichael ran a 3:48.56 in the 1500m run, finishing fourth overall. Nathan Ruth set a new personal best in the event with a time of 3:51.19, finishing tenth. 
– Bash Hedger set a new PB in the 200m run, running a 21.85. He recorded the fastest time of all Norse in the event. 
– Osayi Ogbebor set a new personal record in the 110m hurdles, running a 14.79 and finishing 15th overall. 
– Camden Pawlick recorded personal best throws of 45.64m in the discus and 39.00 in the hammer. His discus throw placed him ninth overall in the event. 
– Brayden Holland set a new season-best in the 800m run, finishing in 1:53.83

NOTABLES (WOMEN)
– Grace Biddle ran a 4:31.98 in the 1500m, taking five seconds off her personal best and finishing second overall.
– Maddie Neary set a new PB in the high jump as she cleared 1.63 meters, finishing first among all competitors in her division.
– Sierra Kendall ran a 1:00.52 in the 400m hurdles, finishing in sixth.
– Cameron Bittermann notched a fifth-place finish in the 200m run with a time of 23.62, and a ninth-place finish in the 400m with a time of 55.34.
– Olivia Kennedy ran a 2:11.58 in the 800m run, the fastest time of any Norse in the event.
