Paulick, Williams Named to Valeo #HLBASE All-Academic Team

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Northern Kentucky University baseball student-athletes Jake Paulick and Josh Williams were named to the 2026 Valeo #HLBASE All-Academic Team on Wednesday.

Paulick has excelled both on the field and in the classroom throughout his career. A finance major and multi-time Dean's List selection, Paulick currently leads the team in batting average (.371, minimum 100 at-bats), home runs (13) and RBI (47), while also pacing the Norse in several additional offensive categories, and has been named #HLBASE Batter of the Week twice this season. Throughout his career, Paulick earned Horizon League All-Freshman Team honors in 2024 and was named a Horizon League All-Academic Honorable Mention selection and CSC Academic All-District honoree in 2025.

Williams has emerged as a steady presence both on the field and in the classroom since transferring into the program last season. An interdisciplinary studies major and multiple-time Dean's List selection, Williams has continued to excel athletically while making an impact in the classroom. He currently leads the team in hits (62), doubles (16) and triples (2), while ranking second on the team in home runs (10).

The Norse conclude the regular season this weekend in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where they will face Elon and USC Upstate before heading to Dayton, Ohio, for the Horizon League Championship next week.
