LEXINGTON, Ky. – The MSU Greenbrier Invitational came to a close with the Northern Kentucky women's golf team finishing in 6^th-place.
 
Team Tidbits

• NKU shaved two strokes off of its second-round score, carding a 319 in Tuesday's lone round, but settled for 6^th-place overall.
• Cincinnati topped the team leaderboard at 43-over.

Norse Nuggets

• Freshman Delaney Welsh fired a 77 to lead the Norse. She finished a team-best tied-17^th.
• Final round 80s carded by Lillian Young and Kylie Lysack were also registered within NKU's team score. Young finished tied-22^nd and Lysack moved up to a share for 28^th.
• Macy Wright added an 82 for Northern Kentucky.

Next Up
Northern Kentucky is back in action next week at the Golden Grizzlies Invitational, hosted by Horizon League foe Oakland at Katke-Cousins Golf Course in Rochester, Michigan. The two-day event begins Sept. 24.
