VERO BEACH, Fla. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's golf continued spring play at the NKU Women's Spring Fling from Friday to Sunday, played at Sandridge CC in Vero Beach, Florida. Northern Kentucky had a solid overall performance at the competition, led by stellar individual performances from Ella Hardy and Eva Maley. Overall, NKU finished 79 strokes over par, the fourth-best mark of any of the 11 competing teams. 

Hardy finished fourth overall at +11, and led all golfers through two rounds after posting a tourney-best 70 on the 72-par course in round two. A slight falter in round three saw her fall to fourth overall, finishing four strokes off the lead, but her -2 in round two was the only under-par individual round of the entire tournament. 

Not to be overshadowed by Hardy, Eva Maley finished at +13 and tied for fifth, as she displayed consistency through two rounds, posting 75s in both the first and second rounds. A +7 in round three saw her drop slightly, but her overall performance helped lead the Norse to a top-half finish. 

Kenna Jenkinson posted a +26, finishing 28th overall. After scoring an 84 in the first round, she went for 79s in each of her final two rounds, totaling five overall birdies in those last two rounds.

Gianna White finished in 39th overall at +31, finishing strong with an 81 in her final round. Conlee Lindsey finished in 36th overall with a +29 mark, while competing as an independent.
