UNION, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky women's golf team sits in sixth place at the conclusion of the first round of the NKU Fall Classic. NKU is eight shots back of moving into a tie for fourth place with fellow Horizon League adversaries, Green Bay and UIC.
Team Tidbits
- The Norse posted a 314 in the opening round of play, tallying 50 pars to go along with eight birdies.
Individual Highlights
- Kylie Lysack led the Norse with a four-over par 76 on the day. Lysack was consistent with 12 pars and two birdies, two bogeys and two double-bogeys to complete her round.
- Erin Durstock was steady throughout her round as well, playing both sides at three-over to shoot a total of 78.
- Lillian Young joined the 70's club with a 79. Young played the par-3s even par.
- Kathryn Doss notched a new career low, posting an 80 through the first round.
