UNION, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky women's golf team finished in seventh place in its home event the NKU Fall Classic, held in memory of former Norse golfer Andrew Jewell. Fellow Horizon League squad IUPUI claimed the team title with a 16-over par showing.
Team Tidbits
- NKU fell a spot on the leaderboard to UNC-Asheville after posting a 322 total for the final round.
- The team finished second in total pars for the event at 106 throughout the two rounds.
Individual Highlights
- Kylie Lysack, Erin Durstock and Lillian Young led the Norse tying for a share of 17th place. The trio carded two-round totals of 158.
- Durstock was one par shy of tying the field for most pars throughout the event, tallying 25 through 36 holes of play.
- Kelsey Wessels used a pair of 81's on both days to assist in scoring for the team. Wessels played the par-3s at even for the event.
