SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – The Northern Kentucky women's golf team slid one spot in the finals standings of the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, finishing fifth in the event hosted by Tennessee Tech.
Team Tidbits
- NKU posted a respectable 307 in the final round, finishing two strokes back of Carson-Newman in fourth.
- Samford took home the team title, with Marshall and Eastern Kentucky in tow.
- Monday's 299 was the best round of the season for NKU and second-best all-time. The team's final round 307 tied for the third-best round this season.
Norse Nuggets
- The Norse were led on the final day by Kylie Lysack's 75. It was her second round of 75 in the tournament.
- Lillian Young earned a top-10 finish, closing with a three-round total of 221. It's her third top-10 of the season.
- Macy Wright narrowly missed finishing in the top-20. She settled for a share of 23rd.
