ARDEN, N.C. - UNC Asheville's French Broad Collegiate Invitational came to a close on Tuesday afternoon with the Northern Kentucky women's golf team finishing 11th overall.

Team Tidbits

• NKU shaved 12 strokes off of its first round 331, but settled for 11th as both Radford and Lipscomb, the two teams immediately ahead of the Norse also shot 319 on the day.
• Appalachian State jumped Wofford in the team standings to win the title.

Norse Nuggets

• Five of the six Norse competing improved their standing in the final round.
• Macy Wright and Lillian Young posted matching scores of 79 to lead the way for NKU. Wright finished tied for 28th, while Young came in 32nd.
• Erin Durstock and Kylie Lysack contributed scores of 80 and 81, respectively.
