HOWEY-IN-THE-HILS, Florida. – The Northern Kentucky women's golf team finds itself in eighth place following the first round of competition at the 2019 Horizon League Championship. Kylie Lysack leads the way for the Norse, currently sitting in a three-way tie for 10^th.
 
Team Tidbits

• NKU carded an opening round 337 and sits three-strokes back of Green Bay in seventh.
• IUPUI and Oakland top the team leaderboard after posting 311.

Norse Nuggets

• Lysack was 2-over on the front nine and 4-over on the back, en route to carding a 79 on the day. She secured a birdie on each side as well.
• The Norse also received an 83 from Lillian Young and 87 from Macy Wright.
• Taylor Schwarz and Delaney Welsh each carded 88.
