HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky men's and women's track & field team's next outdoor meet this season is the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational, hosted by the University of Cincinnati. Events are scheduled over a two-day span on April 2 and 3 in Cincinnati.
The Norse are coming off of their first outdoor meet this season, competing in the Blizzard Buster on March 20.
Lynsey Shipley finished fifth in the 100m with a time of 12.14, establishing a new NKU record, as well as finishing third in the 200m with a personal-best time of 25.34. On the men's side, freshman Liam Ehrman finished eighth in the 100m with a time of 11.21, ranking second on NKU's all-time list and earning himself a personal best.
Oliver Nikoloff Invitational
- Despite the cancellation of the outdoor season last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Norse have competed in the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational every year since transitioning from its Division II era.
- Teams competing include host Cincinnati, Miami (Ohio), Bowling Green, Dayton, Xavier and Eastern Kentucky.
- Friday's events start at 10 a.m., with javelin and Saturday's events will also start at 10 a.m., with discus.
- Results will be posted on gobearcats.com as the events conclude.
- No spectators will be admitted into the event.
