LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky track & field program showed out on the final day of competition at the University of Kentucky's Rod McCravy Memorial with a combined 13 personal records and five heat wins to close out the prestigious meet.

NOTABLES
- In the women's 3000-meter finals,
Megan Cole paced the Norse with an eighth-place finish at 10:11.93, accomplished in the opening heat.
Jacquelyn Witt went on to win the second heat of the finals to take 14th with a new personal record of 10:36.22.

Natnael Weldemichael put on a show to win the second heat of the men's 3000-meter finals in a dominating performance. The freshman went for 8:28.39, a new personal best, to place 10th overall in the event.

Thomas Gray-Torsell ran to a victory in the third heat of the men's 800-meter finals as he posted a new personal record of 2:00.93. He outkicked the competetion over the last lap of the race in an exciting victory.

Andrea Armstrong picked up a victory in Heat No. 4 of the women's 400-meter finals, good for 14th overall with a new personal record of 57.14.

Liam Ehrman also won his heat of the men's 400-meter finals to take 19th overall with a new personal best of 51.36.
- The Norse posted six new personal records on the men's side and an addition seven for the women to close out the meet.
NEXT UP
Northern Kentucky will jump right back into competition with the Bellarmine Open, set for Friday, Jan. 20 at the Norton Health Care Sports and Learning Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The field portion of the schedule gets underway at 10 AM ET while the track slate gets going at 11 AM.
