Cook Leads Women's Golf During Day Two of Horizon League Championships

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The Northern Kentucky women's golf program continued action from the Las Colinas Golf Course at the Mission Inn Resort & Club Monday afternoon, as the Horizon League Championships conducted round number two from Florida. 

Abby Cook had a very impressive day as she shot a 78 in round two to jump up nine spots into a tie for 18th place overall with an overall score of 160. Cook finished the opening round of the Horizon League Championships with an 82. Cook leads NKU with three total birdies through two rounds, and ranks fifth against the field in Par 5 scoring at 5.13 (+1) overall. 
 
Hannah Hall continued to play well into day number of of these conference championships, shooting an 82 after posting a 78 in round one. Hall is tied with fellow Norse Cook for 18th place with an overall score of 160 as we head into the final round of play from Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida tomorrow, Tuesday, April 25.

Northern Kentucky women's golf returns to the Las Colinas Golf Course tomorrow, Tuesday, April 25 for the final round of action of the Horizon League Championships in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. The Norse will look to tee off tomorrow beginning at 7:30 AM (ET).
