Windlan Leads NKU Women’s Golf At Loaded Chris Banister Classic

A five-over par round for Kennedy Windlan leaves the sophomore tied for fourth following the opening round of the Chris Banister Classic.

Day One Results

GLENCOE, Ala. – Kennedy Windlan lies in a tie for 12th overall to lead the Northern Kentucky women's golf team at the Christ Banister Golf Classic.  Windlan posted a five-over 77 and is just four strokes off the lead.
 
As a team, the Norse posted an opening round 337 (+49) and sit in 11th place.
 
Allisa Davis shot 82 (+10, t-33rd) and is tied 33rd, while Ryleigh Waltz carded an 83 (+11, t-38th) and Kristen Smith registered an 84 (+12, t-42nd) to give the Norse three golfers in a row on the scoreboard.
 
Two strokes behind Smith is teammate Tara Clark, who is tied with three other individuals in 48th. Sarah Kellam is in a tie for 53rd after shooting 87.
 
The Norse are back in action Monday morning with a 7:30 a.m. start.
