Red Rocks Invite Concludes With Norse Finishing 19th

A two-week break separates the Norse from their next tournament.

Final Results

SEDONA, Ariz. – Sarah Kellam posted a 7-over round in the final 18-holes to help the Northern Kentucky women's golf team close the Red Rocks Invitational hosted by Northern Arizona in 19th-place.
 
Kellam's rounds of 82-79 led to a two-day total of 17-over par and a share of 87th amid the tough field.
 
Ryleigh Waltz shot an 87 on Saturday, while Taylor Wogenstahl and Kennedy Windlan each carded an 82 for an NKU team that combined to post a 330 total on the day. Kristen Smith, the fifth Norse playing as a part of NKU's quintet in the team competition finished with an 89.
 
Playing as individuals, Allisa Davis and Molly Arnold notched 88s and Katie-Scarlet Skinner carded a 93.
 
Northern Arizona led from start to finish, posting a two-day total of 21-over par. Grand Canyon's Charlotte Jaengkit and Nebraska-Omaha's Sophie Peters shared individualist honors at even-par for the tournament.
 
The Norse will have a two-week lay-off before taking part in the Lady Thunderbird Invitational hosted by Southern Utah in St. George, Utah, on March 12-13.
