KISSIMMEE, Fla. –
Kennedy Windlan moved eight spots up the individual leaderboard and helped Northern Kentucky climb one position into seventh as the Norse completed the second round of the 2015 Atlantic Sun Golf Championship.
Windlan was the epitome of the old idiom "cool as a cucumber" on a hot Florida day. The sophomore converted a pair of birdies on her second-nine holes en route to the fifth-best round of the day, a 2-over 74. Windlan now stands tied for 12
th with one round left.

Northern Kentucky used rounds of 7-over 79 from both
Taylor Wogenstahl and
Ryleigh Waltz. Wogenstahl notched a birdie on the par-4 fifth.
A birdie on hole No. 18 from
Ryleigh Waltz helped the sophomore to a 38 over the opening nine. She followed with a 41 in the final nine holes for her 79.
NKU's scoring leader
Sarah Kellam carded two birdies on holes Nos. 1 and 14, both par-5s. Kellam settled an 8-over 80.
Kristen Smith was the first player off the tees for NKU. She went out in 38 and closed with a birdie on the par-4 ninth hole to come into the clubhouse with a 42, giving her an 8-over-par 80 in the second round.
