HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky.?– The Northern Kentucky women's golf team travels to Lexington, Kentucky, for the MSU Greenbrier Invitational at Greenbrier Country Club. The Norse will compete on Monday, Sept. 16th and Tuesday, Sept. 17th.
?Norse Lineup
Seniors Erin Durstock, Kylie Lysack, Amy Pugliano and Kelsey Wessels are set to travel south, along with juniors Karly Egbers and Lillian Young. Sophomore Delaney Welsh rounds out the roster. Durstock and Pugliano will be competing as individuals.
Last Season at Greenbrier
Welsh was solid for NKU in Lexington last season, shooting rounds of 79-80-77 to finish tied-17th. Young claimed a share of 22nd place thanks to a helpful second-round score of 75, which was the lowest round on the team for the week. The team captured sixth place outright.
Tournament Tidbits
Greenbrier is a par-72 course set to play at 5,961-yards. The course features zoysia grass fairways and short par-5's that look to be taken advantage of by NKU.
