INDIANAPOLIS – Northern Kentucky women's golf wrapped up its best tournament of the season, shooting a three-round total of 87 to earn a 10th-place finish in the Butler Fall Invitational on Tuesday.
Team Tidbits
On Monday, the Norse fired rounds of 306 and 302, their two best of the year so far.
NKU followed with a 319 on Monday and finished tied for 10th.
The team's 927 tournament total is 37 shots better than its previous low, set at the Briar Ridge Invitational.
With an 878, Austin Peay claimed the team title.
Individual Highpoints
Abby Cook flirted with another top-10 finish through the first two rounds, but ultimately settled for a share of 31st. She was one of the tournament's leaders with 35 pars and posted rounds of 71-75-82 in the event.
All three rounds from Emmanuelle Hewson (77-76-81) and Delaney Welsh (79-75-80) were used in the team scores.
Reagan Nolan finished with a team-high five birdies and her second (76) and third round (79) scores were used in the team total.
