CLEVELAND, Tenn. - The Northern Kentucky University men's and women's track and field programs competed at the Flames Invitational this past weekend, as the two-day event was hosted by Lee University.
"The HUGE Flames Invitational at Lee University," said head coach
Steve Kruse. "We saw some of the best NCAA Division II talent in the country at this meet. Our top 10 performers were really getting it done on a couple of days that were very weather restrictive for shorter events & field events. The cold weather is preferable for 5k, 10k however the wind was not for any event. We did not see the sun until late Saturday afternoon and by that time we had seen it all, rain, sleet, snow flurries. Our sprint group is looking forward to a warm spring day to really shine."

She went on to finish the 200m dash in sixth overall with a time of 25.22 as well.
