Maddie Moody tabbed #HLWBB Freshman of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's basketball forward Maddie Moody was tabbed the Horizon League's Freshman of the Week on Monday, following a stellar performance from the Kettering, Ohio native. 

Moody posted weekly averages of 14.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals, 1.3 assists, and 1.0 blocks per game, while shooting 40.5% from the field and 87.5% from the free throw line. Moody helped lead the Norse to a pair of wins over Drake and Southern Indiana, with the latter coming in overtime. 

In Tuesday's loss vs. Stetson, Moody went for 16 points, nine rebounds, a block, and a steal. She put up 12 points, four rebounds, two blocks, two assists, and a steal in NKU's blowout win over Drake, before notching her first career double-double on Sunday with a 15-point, 12-rebound performance.
