INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – With the end of the Horizon League regular season on Saturday, the league announced its postseason All-League teams and award winners on Monday. Northern Kentucky University Norse men's basketball saw a pair of honorees recognized, as senior guard
Donovan Oday was named to the All-League Second Team, while
Tae Dozier earned All-Defensive Team honors.
Donovan Oday put together one of the best single season campaigns in NKU's history, averaging 18.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.8 assists, and 0.5 blocks per game. Oday finished second in the Horizon League in scoring, steals, and made free throws per game, while ranking fourth in free throw percentage and tenth in field goal percentage. The Arlington, Texas native put together some memorable single-game performances throughout the season, including a career-high 38 points against Robert Morris, one of three games in which he scored 30-plus points. Since the Norse joined Division I in 2011-12, Oday's posted the third-highest scoring average in NKU's history, the second-most made free throws, and fourth-most steals.
Tae Dozier established himself as one of the Horizon League's best defenders over the 2025-26 campaign, resulting in a spot on the league's All-Defensive teams. This season, Dozier posted 40 total blocks, averaging 1.3 per game, and 50 steals, averaging 1.6 per game. He ranked second in the Horizon League in blocked shots, and fifth in the league in steals. His 40 total blocks rank as the fourth-highest total since the Norse joined Division I, and his 50 steals rank tenth in NKU's DI history.
Oday, Dozier and the Norse open postseason play on Wednesday when the Norse take on Oakland on the road on Wednesday, March 4 at 7 PM ET. Fans can watch on ESPN+ and listen on Fox Sports 1360, with radio coverage starting at 6:30 PM ET.
