David Lee Holt NKU Hall of Fame
The former Angela Healy was a key member of the Norse women's basketball team during her four years in Highland Heights, as NKU posted a 92-33 record during her career. She was a big part of a team that reached the NCAA Division II Tournament in three consecutive seasons, including a National Championship in 2007-08. She was one of the best shot blockers in program history, ranking second in program history with 137 rejections and 1.1 blocks per game. In addition to her defense, Healy Jones tallied 1,262 points (18th all-time) on .501 shooting (12th all-time), knocking down 297 free throws (ninth all-time) and pulling down 805 rebounds (seventh all-time). Her 335 rebounds in 2007-08 ranks second by a Norse in a single season. To close her NKU career, Healy Jones was named an All-American honorable mention and All-GLVC First Team as the Norse won the program's second National Championship with a win over South Dakota in 2008.
