Lauren was a key member of the women’s soccer team from 1998-2000 and again in 2004.  She was a four-year starting goalkeeper for the program, and led her team to four GLVC Conference Tournaments (1998, 1999, 2000, 2004), 3 GLVC Championships (1998, 1999, 2000), and three NCAA appearances (1999, 2000, 2004), including a Final Four appearance in 1999 and a national championship appearance in 2000. Lauren was named to the all-conference team all four years, all-region team three years, and earned Third Team All-American honors in 2000.  With the help of a strong offense and indestructible defense, Lauren set the NCAA Division II record for most shutouts with 16 in 1999, and is tied for fourth in the NCAA Division II record books for single season shutouts (16) and is fourth in career shutouts (46).

Lauren leads the statistics in the NKU history books in the following categories; saves, save percentage, most wins, and most shutouts. She is ranked third in saves per game and ranks among the top leaders in individual season records holding multiple top record holder spots. In 2004, she was awarded the NKU Booth Inspirational Female Athlete Award.
