Katie (Kelsey) Cluxton was a guard for the NKU women’s basketball team. She graduated cum laude in 1999 with a degree in psychology. During her time as a Norse, she had four winning seasons; finishing fourth for three seasons, and first in one of her seasons of GLVC regular season play. During those four years, the team won one GLVC championship, one GLVC tournament championship, an NCAA Great Lakes Regional and qualified for the NCAA Elite Eight and Final Four. Kelsey earned GLVC Honorable Mention her sophomore year. She is No. 1 in career assists at 514, No. 1 in career assist average at 4.55 per game, and she is tied for most assists in a single season at 168 for the women’s program. Kelsey was an NKU Academic All-American and GLVC All-Academic all four years that she played for the Norse.  She was also recognized with the Athletic Council Career Achievement Award.
